Circle of Trust was the Reddit April Event of 2018. Every user had one circle, and could invite others to join. But if any one betrayed your circle, it was broken forever.

== Mechanics ==

Every Reddit account created before the launch of the event had the ability to create a circle with a custom title and password. If you did not set a title, it would default to "<username>'s Circle". This created a post on r/CircleOfTrust with a special graphic: a purple circle with one purple dot orbiting inside.

The password could not be changed once chosen and set. Anyone who successfully typed in the correct password into a circle would be presented with the choice to Join or Betray. Joining the circle would grow the circle, and the circle tracked how many people had successfully joined. Members of the circle could see and copy the password of that circle at any time. Betraying the circle would break it, and no more could join.

As more users joined a circle, the color would change, moving through the rainbow from purple up to red.

Deoplo (reddit username: Deoplo357) first found out about the [[April Knights]] during [[r/Place]] in 2017, however he did not join the Knights until [[r/Sequence]] in 2019. Deoplo initially joined the [[Grey Wardens]], and later in 2021 transferred to [[ANZAC]].

On May 22, 2020 Deoplo was promoted to [[First Officer]] within the Grey Wardens, making him the battalion's Lower Councilor. (The [[Commander]] of the Grey Wardens at the time, [[YeWhoTookAPUSH]], was an Upper Councilor.)

With [[Gryph667]] becoming [[Grandmaster]] in 2021, Deoplo was appointed the [[Upper Council]] position of [[Advisor]], and also as [[Scribe]].

As these knights thunder forward the enemy feels first the ground tremble, and then themselves, as they cannot help but be overwhelmed by fear. One glance at the levelled halberds and raised banners of the fearsome Kea, and only one name comes to their shakey lips. For they can be none other than the most venerated cavalry battalion in all the lands - known to be the reason their adversaries do not live to see the next dawn - ANZAC.

The legislative body of the April Knights is compromised of the [[Upper Council]] and the [[Lower Council]]. The Upper Council includes the elected [[Grandmaster]] and their appointed [[Division]] heads. The [[Lower Council]] is comprised of the [[Commander]] of each [[Battalion]], unless that Commander is already serving on the Upper Council, in which case the Commander chooses a [[First Officer]] to represent their battalion. There are currently 8 Battalions, so there are 8 seats on the Lower Council.
