The Interregnum was a period of Knight history that occurred after the end of [[the Button]] and who the [[Grandmaster]] of the [[Knights of the Button]] was came into question. There was five answers to that question.

1. [[Turtlesoup23]] and [[Wicro]] as co-Grandmasters, as it was during the Button.

2. [[Wicro]] alone as Turtlesoup was inactive.

3. [[Stareatme]], who declared himself Grandmaster and split from the Knights of the Button after the [[Writ of Whiterook]] was enforced.

4. [[Ghostise]], who was Wicro's heir and declared by Wicro to be Grandmaster while Wicro was away.

5. [[Gryph667]], mayor of [[Redguard]], who stepped in after Ghostise was exiled.

The Interregnum would come to an end at the start of [[Robin]] with the 2016 [[election]] where Ghostise would win and would be Grandmaster until 2019.
