Battalions are the oldest groups within the April Knights. Battalions of various interests and cultures formed during the Button in 2015, and many of those are still around today. A few others developed after that, through alliances or merges.
Every battalion is led by a Commander and if said commander is indisposed or current member of the Upper Council then they are represented by a First Officer.
