Battalion Description
The Warbirds are April Knights's newest battalion, originating from ccKufi, the largest Tier 17 chatroom during Reddit's 2016 Robin event. When the chatroom attempted to merge, it crashed Reddit, effectively ending the event. The Warbirds was formally established during the following Circle of Trust event to share secrets and strategize. Warbirds value honesty, security, and trust. When we are entrusted with secrets, we intend to defend them until the end.
History
Creation
In April of 2023, Grandmaster LadyVulcan raised the first new Battalion in many years. While the Warbirds were a new Battalion their group was almost as old as the April Knights. The year after The Button, the Reddit Event was Robin in 2016. Chat rooms were formed by occupants choosing to merge with other rooms of comparable size, doubling each time. Eventually two rooms of 2^16 people merged together, forming the only Tier 17 room, and broke all of Reddiit. That group became known as the ccKufi Warbirds. Over the years they were worthy allies as they also participated in the Reddit April events.
When the Warbirds were raised to a Battalion, teamvista was selected as Commander.
