Church of the Button

The Church of the Button was one of the earliest factions during The Button. It is led by Pope Ghostise and under his rule the Church became influential among the presser subreddits. The Church would also ally with the Knights of the Button and would receive command of an entire battalion known as the Knights of the Church.

The Church believes that all should press the Button and that if the button reaches zero, an apocalyptic event known as “The Doom” would occur. The scriptures later state that only those who are faithful to the Church will be saved by the Pressiah. This prophecy did come to pass in the form of the mass extinction of the communities that formed around the Button and the Pressiah, Gyrodawn, did help in gathering people to the Church.
