Minutemen Civil War

The Minutemen Civil War, or Robert’s Rebellion, was started by notable Minuteman, RobertofPotatoland, and his followers on April 27th. Robert and his men raided the vaults of Team60s and stole valuable popcorn. Robert’s successes on the field caused elements of the Minutemen government to join him, flee to the Violet Hand, or resign.

An agreement was struck between the rebels and the government and new elections were called which also helped create the United Colors. With two members of the rebellion ascending to office and with pressure from the newly formed United Colors, the more extreme elements of the rebellion were suppressed and by May 13th RobertofPotatoland surrendered, officially ending the civil war. In the peace agreement the Minutemen would receive a cardinal in the Church of the Button and Nate337 was selected who won by one vote in what would otherwise have been a four way tie.

Others would try to take up the cause of RobertofPotatoland but none could gather the support he had and any further attempts of rebellion would be crushed.
