War of the Grove

Sometimes called the Second Spectrum War, the War of the Grove was the takeover of the Grove Republic and Knights of the Button on June 2nd by Chaos Legion and No Coloreds. This war was the culmination of the work of the Assassins and Shades.

The war started with the First Battle of Castle Redguard, which saw the Redguard subreddit taken over by No Coloreds. The subreddit was converted into a staging ground for the main attack on Redhold. The traitorous mage TH-J let Rhamni and his warriors into the subreddit and the Battle of Redhold was a quick and decisive victory for the Shades. The Knights of the Button subreddit was converted into a Shade temple.

Concurrently, the Chaos Legion takes over Grove Republic and President FujiJohn is kept on as a Governor of the Grove. Much like the 59s incident, the population under occupation is put into concentration camps.

Redguard resistance is able to counter-attack against the Shades and was able to reclaim Redguard in the Battle of the Keep. This was the first victory for the Knights and it greatly increased morale.

Chaos Legion answered Redguard’s resistance with a DDOS attack against the zombies in the Battle of the Pool. This final assault against Abra’s program, Squire, lasted for 31 minutes and 27 seconds before Abra was able to repel the threat the Legion posed.

Grandmasters Turtlesoup23 and Wicro mounted an assault against the Shades dug in at Redhold and were victorious against Rhamni’s warband. The traitor TH-J deleted his reddit account in shame for betraying the Knights.

Following the Battle of Redhold, the War of the Grove ended on June 5th with the Knights’ holdings liberated but the Shades holding control over the Grove Republic. The Legion would occupy the republic until it was liberated by Grandmaster Ghostise on October 17th, 2015.
