The legislative body of the April Knights is compromised of the Upper Council and the Lower Council. The Upper Council includes the elected Grandmaster, their appointed Division heads, and their appointed advisors. The Lower Council is comprised of the Commander of each Battalion, unless that Commander is already serving on the Upper Council, in which case the Commander chooses a First Officer to represent their battalion. There are currently 8 Battalions, so there are 8 seats on the Lower Council.
