Nicolaikay was an Assassin who joined the April Knights during the Interregnum. He would join the Knights in earnest and ascend the rank to Commander, becoming the first commander of the Knights of the Ashen Blade and would serve as First Builder under Grandmaster Gryph667.
Career
The Button and Interregnum
Little is known of Nicolaikay's career as an assassin. During the Interregnum he would build a fortress in the hinterlands of Shade territory called Knightfall. Shortly after it's completion, Nicolaikay left Knightfall to journey in the wilderness and Knightfall fell under the occupation of an exiled Ghostise and the Knights of the Church who followed him. Nicolaikay would return and be welcomed back into Knightfall as a Knight as Knightfall was assumed to be a Knight fortress defending the border from Shade incursions.
Robin
Nicolaikay would befriend the Knights and eventually would reveal to Ghostise, now Grandmaster, that he was an Assassin. Ghostise found the tale humorous and would forgive his friend for the deception.
Circle of Trust and Sequence
Ghostise and Nicolaikay would work closely together, and found the Knights of the Ashen Blade, a battalion where former members of hostile factions could gain membership in the April Knights and redemption through service. Nicolaikay would work closely with Legendosh and TheShyPig of the Knights of Nevermore and Britguard respectively.
