Batallion Description
Euroguard is the battalion that typically includes our Knights from the European time zones, although some hail from as far as central Asia, and location is not a requirement for membership.
Euroguard has traditionally been the graveyard shift, awake while America sleeps, safeguarding the Knights when only we are able to.
Those who wish to be the shield that guards the Knights in the small hours. From the Atlantic coast in the West to the Ural River in the East, from the Mediterranean in the South to the Arctic waters in the North.
The Euroguard are a battalion for all those living on the European continent and its surrounding islands. They work to protect our Order when the ANZAC troops have already gone to bed and when our North-American brethren have yet to wake up.

Current Leadership
Founding and History
Historically, Euroguard was formed in May 2021 by merging the battalions of Nevermore and Britguard.
Britguard
The Briguard was a general purpose battalion for Knights living in the British Isles. They worked closely with the European Knights of Nevermore.
Historically Active 2015, then 2018 to April 2021 Britguard was 14 Knights strong during its peak.

Nevermore
The Knights of Nevermore were a general purpose battalion of April Knights based for people living in continental Europe. All the Knights that were in this battalion that were active on the server were a part of Aurelia.

Ancient Chronicles of Nevermore
It was said that LeeNobody was commanded to raise a glorious battalion of knights to guard during European daylight hours. He found 5 brave knights to join him in this quest.
The Button Campaign
Knights of Nevermore had very little coordination as a battalion and most of its contribution seems to be on an individual status. It is unknown how many Knights of Nevermore were able to press but it is known Legendosh, who would lead the battalion later wouldn't get the chance to press.
Interregnum and Join Robin
During the Interregnum, Legendosh was given control of what remained of the battalion and was made Lord Commander of Nevermore. The battalion system was shortly discarded shortly after during the Join Robin campaign as the April Knights didn't have the numbers to divide themselves into smaller battalions. Only two battalions remained during this period, the Redguard and the Knights of the Church.
Recommission and Circle of Trust
During the Circle of Trust Campaign, the battalions were reformed as the Knights finally had the numbers that the Grandmaster couldn't afford to control all Knights at once and needed Commanders to help. The Knights of Nevermore were one of the first battalions to be recommissioned since it was important to have the European Knights organized. The battalion's own circle eventually gained 32 members and was never betrayed.
After Sequence
Enda became the new commander of the Knights of Nevermore after Legendosh left the Knights.

The Formation of Euroguard
The battalions of Nevermore and Britguard formed in May 2021 by merging the battalions of Nevermore and Britguard.
Euroguard was first led by TheTominator until his retirement in April 2023 where Smaddy was promoted from First Officer to Commander.
