Bardguard

Bardguard is a subdivision within the April Knights for those who create songs, poems, and rhymes about the Knights and glorifies their history.

History

Origins

During the Button the IRC channel used to coordinate Knight efforts was often spammed with lyrics of songs. Sometimes the lyrics changed to be button themed. The Necromancer Abra was opposed to this spam as it cluttered the channel with unimportant messages so he banned song lyrics. This led to the group of Knights to form a "battalion" called the Bardtards. Overtime the bards would become an official subdivision of the first the Stewards then the Heralds.

Rename

During the reign of Grandmaster LadyVulcan the subdivision was renamed to Bardguard.
